"Passing of the Light Ceremony"
Confirmation Session
All Confirmation sessions are held in the SLS cafeteria by members of the Mercyhurst University Miracle team. Advent Retreat
Beginning with the 11:30am Mass which Fr. John P. Malthaner will be the celebrant. The retreat will continue with spiritual Advent reflection (approximately 45 minutes) by Fr. John and ending with a special "jingle surprise." EVERYONE from any parish, near or far, is invited to attend. A retreat is a special time when we "pause" from all the noise and rush of life, to calmly and prayerfully "sit" with Jesus. This is a family retreat. Feel free to come with a comfy blanket to sit on or for your children to snuggle in and share as a family. Grades 5-8 Youth Group Meeting
Tonight's meeting, in the SLS cafeteria, will be an exploration of the reason for the season...Jesus!! We will look into the biblical origins of this season as well as discuss different ways to pray and bring Jesus more fully into this season.
